The Vision for Finland’s Growth study was conducted in collaboration with the strategy agency Noren, and it was funded by the Foundation of the Confederation of Finnish Industries and Employers (TT Foundation).

In 2015, a group of experienced business leaders shared a common concern about the challenges of growth in the Finnish business sector. In their view, there are a significant number of medium-sized companies in Finland whose growth potential remains untapped. The Growth Collective was established to support these companies in strengthening their growth will and ability.

Medium-sized companies only account for about 1% of all companies in Finland, but they generate almost a quarter of the turnover of Finnish companies and over 20% of private sector jobs. The growth of these companies has a significant impact on the Finnish economy and society. The founders of the Growth Collective had a vision that together, by sharing authentic experiences among companies, we can accelerate the growth of all companies.

The Growth Collective has always been based on peer-to-peer activity. We have challenged companies to make more outrageous growth promises than each other, which has inspired significant growth leaps. We have built a community at the heart of which medium-sized companies and their executives meet their peers.

Tuomme yhteiskunnalliseen keskusteluun keskisuurten yritysten äänen, sillä niiden  kansantaloudellinen vipuvaikutus on moninkertainen määräänsä nähden. Keskisuuria yrityksiä on vain 1 % Suomen yrityksistä. Silti ne tuovat lähes neljäsosan suomalaisten yritysten liikevaihdosta ja yli viidenneksen yksityisen sektorin työpaikoista.
